Backroom Team Member

Job Summary:

The Backroom Team Member plays a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and organization of store operations. A Backroom Team Member supports the retail floor by managing shipments, maintaining stock accuracy, and keeping the backroom organized. The Backroom Team Member ensures that merchandise is received, sorted, and stored in an orderly manner for quick access by sales associates. The Backroom Team Member also helps in product replenishment, rotation, and safe handling of goods.

In this role, the Backroom Team Member contributes directly to inventory accuracy and product availability. A dependable Backroom Team Member understands the importance of teamwork, time management, and attention to detail in maintaining a smooth workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload, check, and organize merchandise as a Backroom Team Member.

• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper labeling and tracking.

• Support daily store operations by restocking and organizing items.

• Ensure the backroom remains clean, safe, and efficient.

• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow Backroom Team Members.

• Follow company policies regarding safety and stock management.

Requirements And Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience as a Backroom Team Member or warehouse associate preferred.

• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.

• Physical fitness for lifting, moving, and storing merchandise.

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills.
