Food Cashier

Job Summary:

A Food Cashier is responsible for providing quick, accurate, and friendly service to customers at food counters or cafeterias. The Food Cashier processes transactions, handles cash, and ensures customer satisfaction during each interaction. The Food Cashier also assists with maintaining cleanliness in the counter area and coordinating with kitchen staff for efficient service.

As a Food Cashier, you must be detail-oriented, trustworthy, and capable of managing fast-paced environments. The Food Cashier is essential in ensuring smooth daily food operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and process orders as a Food Cashier.

• Handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately.

• Maintain cleanliness at the food counter and service area.

• Assist in packaging and delivering food items.

• Balance the register at the end of the shift.

• Provide excellent customer service.

• Follow hygiene and food safety standards.

Requirements And Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience as a Food Cashier or cashier preferred.

• Strong communication and math skills.

• Familiarity with POS systems.

• Ability to multitask in a busy food environment.

• Friendly, punctual, and reliable.
