Job Summary:

The Retail Backroom Associate plays a key role in maintaining smooth store operations by handling product shipments, inventory organization, and stockroom maintenance. A Retail Backroom Associate ensures merchandise is properly received, stored, and ready for display. The Retail Backroom Associate supports front-end and sales teams by keeping products accessible and organized.

A successful Retail Backroom Associate must be detail-oriented, dependable, and efficient in managing inventory flow. The Retail Backroom Associate also ensures safety compliance, cleanliness, and timely restocking to support daily sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, process, and organize shipments as a Retail Backroom Associate.

• Maintain stockroom organization and product labeling.

• Support merchandising teams with restocking and replenishment.

• Perform regular inventory checks and audits.

• Ensure the Retail Backroom Associate area meets safety standards.

• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.

• Work with scanners and inventory software.

• Communicate with sales teams about stock availability.

Requirements And Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience as a Retail Backroom Associate or warehouse clerk preferred.

• Physical ability to lift and move merchandise.

• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.

• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

• Basic understanding of retail inventory systems.
