Custodian

Job Summary:

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and upkeep of buildings and facilities. A dedicated Custodian ensures that all areas are clean, organized, and properly maintained. The Custodian performs cleaning duties, minor maintenance, and safety checks to ensure smooth facility operations.

As a Custodian, you will clean floors, restrooms, and public areas while ensuring compliance with hygiene standards. The Custodian also assists with event setups, moves furniture, and ensures that supplies are replenished.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain assigned areas as a Custodian.

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.

• Clean restrooms and replenish supplies.

• Perform basic maintenance and report damages.

• Move furniture or equipment as directed.

• Follow safety and cleaning protocols.

• Maintain cleaning tools and storage areas.

Requirements And Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Prior experience as a Custodian preferred.

• Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and tools.

• Strong attention to detail and responsibility.

• Ability to lift and move heavy items.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
