Job Summary:

The Cashier Team Member is responsible for providing exceptional service at the point of sale, ensuring customers experience fast and friendly transactions. A Cashier Team Member manages cash, card, and digital payments, issues receipts, and balances cash drawers. The Cashier Team Member plays an essential role in maintaining customer satisfaction through professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail.

The Cashier Team Member also supports the front-end team by assisting with product inquiries, managing returns, and maintaining a clean checkout area. A motivated Cashier Team Member helps ensure smooth daily operations and contributes to a positive store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payments and transactions as a Cashier Team Member.

• Handle customer queries, refunds, and returns.

• Maintain register accuracy and transaction records.

• Keep the checkout area organized and clean.

• Follow safety and security procedures.

• Support other Cashier Team Members during peak hours.

• Assist in restocking and organizing front-end displays.

• Deliver excellent customer service in every interaction.

Requirements And Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience as a Cashier Team Member or retail cashier preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency with POS systems and digital payment methods.

• Basic math and transaction accuracy skills.

• Ability to work flexible hours and maintain reliability.
