Job Summary:

The General Retail Associate plays a vital role in supporting overall store operations. A General Retail Associate provides outstanding customer service, maintains inventory, and ensures that store shelves and displays are fully stocked and organized. The General Retail Associate contributes to a positive shopping environment by assisting customers, processing transactions, and following company policies.

As a General Retail Associate, you will work across various departments, including sales, stocking, and customer service. The General Retail Associate must be adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent results in a fast-paced retail setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers courteously as a General Retail Associate.

• Restock shelves and ensure merchandise is properly labeled.

• Operate POS systems for customer transactions.

• Maintain store cleanliness and presentation standards.

• Support promotions, displays, and product launches.

• Collaborate with other General Retail Associates to achieve team goals.

• Handle returns and exchanges according to policy.

• Follow safety and loss prevention guidelines.

Requirements And Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Prior experience as a General Retail Associate or in a retail role preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to lift and move merchandise.

• Proficiency with POS systems and retail operations.

• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused attitude.

• Ability to multitask in a busy retail environment.
