Backroom Attendant

Job Summary:

The Backroom Attendant is an essential part of the retail and warehouse team, responsible for maintaining an organized and efficient backroom environment. A skilled Backroom Attendant ensures that all merchandise, supplies, and stock items are received, sorted, and stored properly. The Backroom Attendant works closely with sales associates and management to guarantee that products are always available and accurately labeled for quick access. In this role, the Backroom Attendant supports the overall flow of inventory, ensuring smooth daily operations and a clean, safe workspace.

The Backroom Attendant also assists with deliveries, shipment processing, and product rotation. A dependable Backroom Attendant helps maintain stockroom accuracy while adhering to safety and operational standards. This position requires teamwork, physical strength, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and process incoming shipments as a Backroom Attendant.

• Sort, label, and store merchandise accurately.

• Maintain a clean and organized backroom environment.

• Assist sales teams by retrieving and restocking products from the backroom.

• Follow company guidelines for safety and product handling.

• Track stock movement and report any discrepancies.

• Support the team during inventory counts as a Backroom Attendant.

• Ensure timely replenishment of shelves and product displays.

Requirements And Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior experience as a Backroom Attendant or warehouse assistant preferred.

• Strong physical stamina for lifting and moving merchandise.

• Attention to detail and time management skills.

• Basic computer and inventory management knowledge.

• Ability to work as a reliable and efficient team member.
