General Merchandise

Job Summary:

A General Merchandise associate is responsible for organizing, stocking, and maintaining the presentation of merchandise throughout the store. The General Merchandise employee ensures that all products are properly labeled, priced, and displayed according to company standards. The General Merchandise team contributes directly to customer satisfaction by keeping shelves fully stocked and aisles clean and organized.

The General Merchandise associate works with inventory teams, assists in merchandising resets, and helps customers locate items. A successful General Merchandise associate must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle physical tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves and maintain displays as a General Merchandise associate.

• Check product labels and ensure accurate pricing.

• Rotate stock to prevent outdated or damaged merchandise.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all General Merchandise sections.

• Assist customers with locating products and answering inquiries.

• Collaborate with team members during inventory counts.

• Report low stock levels or damaged products to supervisors.
