Job Overview

As the first point of contact for guests, the Front Desk Agent plays a key role in creating a positive and welcoming experience. Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm and professional demeanor.

• Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.

• Handle guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications both in person and over the phone.

• Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.

• Respond promptly to guest requests, questions, and concerns, ensuring satisfaction.

• Handle payment transactions, issue room keys, and maintain accurate records in the property management system.

• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals.

• Address guest complaints calmly and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.

• Maintain the front desk area in a clean, organized, and presentable condition.

• Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and security standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; hospitality or customer service experience preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.

• Proficiency with computers and reservation systems (training provided if necessary).

• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
