Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Quality Engineer to oversee a team of testers and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of our data. This role will play a key part in safeguarding the quality of our sports and iGaming data, collaborating with data teams, developers, and stakeholders to reduce faulty processes and enhance reporting reliability.

What You Will Do

• Drive new solutions to strengthen data quality practices and processes.

• Lead and mentor the Data Quality team, ensuring best practices are executed consistently.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data flows, structures, and requirements.

• Manage data pipelines and test their effectiveness to ensure accurate results.

• Partner with developers for smooth handoffs and deployments.

• Troubleshoot report discrepancies and recommend improvements.

• Report QA-related KPI performance to the Director of Data Solutions.

• Perform hands-on, ad-hoc testing when needed.

What You Will Need

• 3+ years of experience managing a Data Quality/Assurance team.

• Strong SQL skills, preferably with Snowflake.

• Proficiency with Python and cloud platforms (AWS or similar).

• Solid understanding of ETL processes and BI report testing.

• Experience with Kafka and REST APIs.

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and automation testing frameworks.

• Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.

• Proactive mindset with a passion for improving processes.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary range: $117,779 – $191,967 USD
